Taylor Law is a limited liability company of solicitors and mediators in Scotland (company number SC355902). 

Our registered office is at 3 Castle Court, Carnegie Campus, Dunfermline, Fife, KY11 8PB.  Our V.A.T. Registration Number is 970 0201 63.

Our Standards

We are regulated by the Law Society of Scotland and must meet their standards of conduct.  These standards can be found at www.lawscot.org.uk.

Our Insurers

We are insured under the Master Policy for Professional Indemnity Insurance of the Law Society of Scotland.  The insurance is provided by a panel of insurers.  The lead insurer is Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Plc. of 200 St. Vincent Street, Glasgow, G2 5SG.  Coverage is worldwide, and limited to £2,000,000.00 for any one claim or series of claims arising out of the same events.

Confidentiality and Data Protection

Taylor Law may process personal information about you, supplied by you or obtained on your behalf for providing legal services, administration, training and/or marketing and may pass it to our service providers and agents for these purposes. When we do this we will always take reasonable steps to make sure the personal information is protected.  Taylor Law may also process personal information for any purposes required by law or by our professional regulator (e.g. anti money laundering and evidence of identity checks) and for commercial purposes (e.g. creditworthiness checks, tracing and debt recovery).  We may use your personal information to contact you about our services, but you can choose not to receive such material at any time by letting us know.

Otherwise, information passed to us is kept confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties.

We routinely record and monitor telephone and/or video calls, which we may send and/or receive.

Taylor Law is notified with the UK Information Commissioner under register entry number Z235616X.

If you are unhappy about any aspect of the service provided by us, then you should, first of all, take the matter up with our Principal Solicitor, A. Ross Taylor.
